MEMAHAMI FILSAFAT HUKUM ISLAM (Studi Komprehensif Istilah-istilah Dasar Filsafat Hukum Islam)

ABSTRACT: Islamic law are at a crossroads. The choice between revelation and reason is a problem that is now confronting. Orthodox Islam emphasizes on revelation, but the modernists emphasized the need to interpret the Koran rationally. They agreed, in principle, with the flow of the rational determination of right and wrong that anything proposed to our minds would have been good in the eyes of God and should be followed. They also agree with the flow of utilities who believe that goodness is what ensures the greatest benefit, which according to the terms Bentham greatest happiness for many people as possible. Islamic law according to them, was revealed for the benefit of humans so that beneficiaries or the public interest is the interest of the peak where there are serious benefits, there is the law of God. They identified beneficiaries with a dynamism that in line with the principles of reason and without it Islam and its laws will bounce. In short, this is the establishment of the modernists.
